Physical Education
Physical Education (PE) at St Andrew’s School (Secondary) develops confident, active and responsible young men through purposeful movement experiences. Our programme equips students with the knowledge, skills and values to lead healthy, active lives beyond their school years.
Guided by the latest MOE Physical Education Teaching and Learning Syllabus, our lessons develop students in three key areas:
Movement Competence – Building confidence and competence across a range of physical activities and sports.
Healthy Lifestyle Practices – Developing lifelong habits that support physical, mental and social well-being.
Character and Values – Learning teamwork, resilience, respect, leadership, sportsmanship and responsibility through authentic sporting experiences.
Our PE curriculum provides every student with opportunities to:
Develop fundamental and sport-specific movement skills.
Improve physical fitness and personal health.
Apply tactical thinking and decision-making during games.
Work effectively with others through collaboration and communication.
Demonstrate safe and responsible participation during physical activity.
Reflect on personal growth and set goals for continual improvement.
